With the i-CON 1 MK2, ERSA has developed a soldering station that meets the requirements of the higher working temperatures and the increasingly smaller process windows of lead-free soldering.
The extremely small, light, ergonomic and powerful i- TOOL MK2 soldering iron makes a significant contribution to improved quality, productivity and enormous reductions in operating costs.

The new Tip'n'Turn technology enables a faster and safer tip change by using a new bayonet attachment.
In addition to improved ergonomics, the 142 tip series offers improved heat transfer and high performance at an optimal price-performance ratio.

Innovative technology - the highlights at a glance

• Soldering iron i-TOOL MK2 with 150 W micro high-power heating element.
• User-friendly "one-touch" operation of the software with online help and easy menu navigation via i-Op menu selection. Large multifunction display.
• The i-CON 1 MK2 is naturally antistatic.
• The calibration data of the i-TOOL MK2 are stored on the circuit board in the handle of the soldering iron. Calibration independent of the control station means that all i-TOOL MK2s can be calibrated at a central point.
• Automatic standby sensor in the i-TOOL MK2 soldering iron detects the standby phase and lowers the temperature to the preselected standby temperature after the preselected standby time.
• Three energy output levels are available to choose from, which regulate the heating element depending on the heat required. At the highest setting, the system delivers the maximum power of 150 W; at the low setting, the power is tightly controlled and no overshoot is allowed.
• Process window informs the operator visually if the temperature leaves the preselected temperature process window.
• With the i-Set TOOL option, additional i-CON MK2 series soldering stations can be automatically configured and locked. The station settings can be downloaded quickly and easily from an i-CON MK2 to the i-Set TOOL - as with a USB stick - and loaded onto another station within 5 seconds.

The soldering station consists of an electronic station MK2 (0IC1135A), the soldering iron i-TOOL MK2 (0105CDJ) with a chisel-shaped ERSADUR permanent soldering tip (0142CDLF16) and a storage stand (0A52), drying sponge (0008M) made of metal wool and CH plug.
