Capacitive membrane keypads / operating foils
Capacitive membrane keyboards are the basis for the development of so-called touch solutions
These are smooth closed surfaces on which the user can operate by touch without pressure.
In contrast to the membrane keypad (operating foils), there is no tactile feedback on a capacitive keypad.
With the capacitive keyboard, the feedback can be replaced by an optical or acoustic signal.
The technology enables a flat structure and can be implemented as a glass, plastic or other non-conductive surface.
The graphic interface can be designed in an almost unlimited number of creative ways.
The concrete benefit lies in the resistance to chemicals and dirt, the low wear and tear of the electronics and the possibility of waterproof and dustproof integration.
